IMG_6266.png Lights on after lift kit 3-1 WC. Abs lines/back-fwd sensors, all lines etc not pinched or ripped. Doubled checked asap all lines A1. Drive for 30sec lights comes on. Shut off truck lights off… Start back up, drive and comes back after 30sec. Alignment is super off. 45 degree cocked right upper. Praying it’s just the horrible alignment. Any inputs?

There is harness located rear, that the tech must be carful with if they drop the rear diff low enough. There is the rear locker, if your truck is so equipped with, check the abs harness are intact at all four corners… I doubt a bad alignment would affect the pre collision or the VSC.

Checked all abs stuff & all good…also ABS light would go off as soon as u start the vehicle. Additionally some that have tripped off abs plugs while doing lift kits say truck will not budge(default to park). Locking rear diff plug I’ll check in am. Thanks a bunch.

If your alignment is out it can cause those messages. Assuming nothing damage or unplugged, if something was unplugged it would cause the errors as soon as you start up, not after driving for a bit. The steering angle sensor sense the steering wheel is off while driving straight. Try get an alignment.

Yes if unplugged it’ll immediately flash on. Takes about 1 minute of actual driving then she comes on. Btw alignment done didn’t fix. Most likely need ADAS/Radar/Camera recalibration

Already ladies & gentlemen. All fixed. Alignment at the dealership and ADAS recalibration did the trick. After alignment it was already good, but just for piece of mind…I had another tech @ a diff dealership recal since the previous one somehow said it’ll take 2hrs of labor. Yikes. Another dealer across town charged me 1/2hr labor($85).

    Nice! Glad it fixed it.

Yeah. Forgot to mention the ADAS calibration. To be honest I’m surprise places still do wheel alignment without ADAS calibration, cause basically all new vehicle in the last half decade requires it. Just assumed that when you do wheel alignment it includes ADAS calibration. When doing alignment with Hunter machine, the last step is to plug in the ADAS calibration tool. That’s what I’ve experience when I had alignment done on all my vehicles. o_O
