This may be a stupid question (some say there’s no such thing, but I think they’re very wrong) but is there any way to measure prior to purchasing tires to figure out what will/will not fit? I want to do a 3.5” lift with 35x12.50 tires on +60 wheels (with a spacer). I just really want to avoid having to BMC

You don't need *any* lift for that size tire. The lift will not improve clearance. 3.5" is excessive and will wear out the front end sooner and require UCAs... but you can do that if you really want. I recommend 2" lift and don't lift the rear; that will level it.

If these are stock Tundra rims, they are 8" wide and are too narrow for a 35x12.5. Look at slightly narrower tires like 285 or 295mm. If they are 18" that would be 285/75r18 or 295/70r18. Or get 9" wide rims if you want to run 35x12.5.

The less that your tires stick out the less likely you will need the BMC. Use 1" (25mm) spacers with your +60 rims and you should be fine. That would be +35 offset, which is perfect... wish we could buy more rims with that spec.

Another good way to avoid the BMC is to use the alignment cams to push the wheels forward. This also improves caster, which is good. You may need to push the liner and bumper forward, but that is easy.

Man this whole time I was thinking the Limited wheels were 20x9, I really am a jackass…

Good news though is that makes the decision a lot easier. I was between the Toto AT3 and the Nitto Ridge grapplers and they say I can fit a 35x11.50 on my 8” rim, can’t do the 295s though. I would imagine that 35x11.50 and spacer combo wouldn’t have any fitment issue. Thoughts?

That size will be fine. 285/65r20s will also fit... same 34.6" diameter as most 35s. Also 295/65r20 but these are 1/2" larger diameter... but if you do everything right you can fit them, no problem.

For some reason both Toto AND Nitto say min of 8.5” wheel for the 295s

I like to use this site... they say 8" is cool but they might not be using Nitto's data.
