    Hi,

    TIP:

Just installed the Roll'n'Lock E-Series tonneau cover. To my surprise, there is no battery under the hood, and found it to be under the back seat, drivers side. So after snipping off a few zip ties I started over. I called Roll'n'Lock and they have never installed on a hybrid so they were not much help.

Their system is designed to route wiring to the driver's side of the bed. I found it "much" easier to route to the passenger side. This is because the main harness comes up through the passenger side of the rear seat which then can be fed through to the driver's side, where the battery is located. I included a couple of pictures to help. I used some of the tar tape that was included with the tonneau cover to seal the penetration area of the grommet.

    Hope this helps!!

Not sure where you’re located but does it work in winter-snow and ice conditions?

Yup, NH. It sucks. If left outside the ice and snow build up making it impossible to open/close. The motor can detect pressure and will stop itself if something is in its path. Nice for that odd shaped item that sticks too far up past it's track but ice and snow stop it almost immediately. However, it's not much different then the rollup I had on previous Tundra's where the ice would stick like glue to the cloth like material. Never used the accordion type. But, I have a heated garage so it's not a big issue.

Nice to have heated garage! Wife gets the garage, I’m outside.

I’m probably going to sell my PRO MX.
