For the last 3 weeks my truck has been down and not working I bought a new fuel pump thinking that it died because it wouldn't start it kept cranking and not starting so I dropped the tank put a new fuel pump in it tested positive and ground and it was pumping fuel put it back up in the reservoir what to start the truck and I'm getting no power back there checked relay and fuses but nothing took it to Monroe Muffler and Brake they had it for a week said it was a loose wire at the fuel pump relay got the truck last Monday he said it was low on gas I went to get the gas put it in it had two gallons in there better went to start it they left the shop and it wouldn't start I had the tow my truck all the way back home I am at wit's end I don't know what this problem is and frankly I need help
I checked all my fuses bought brand new relays I can feel it clicking at the box but it's not transferring power to the fuel pump or the fuel pump has something going on again I doubt that though

    Alot of them
How old is the battery? Some vehicles will kill power to the fuel pump if the battery is bad.

I thought it possibly could be a loose wire underneath the fuse box where the fuel pump relay was so I'm going to try to get that out to see if there's any loose or frayed wire but it's the craziest thing when I take the fuel pump out of the truck and put positive and ground to it it pumps feel like crazy

I took it to Monroe Muffler and Brake which was a mistake last Monday they worked on it for 5 hours said to come pick it up on Wednesday which was today it went to pick up the truck and it did not start and they had left the shop already guy told me to get 2 gallons of gas I would did that and then Triple A shook the fuse box while I tried to prime it and it started so I don't know it seems like there's a loose wire somewhere but I do have positive and ground at the fuel pump harness connection and all my fuse and relays are good I just put brand new ones from Napa in

Check for a bad crankshaft sensor, likely your issue

Fuel pump doesn't run in key on, only when cranking or running. You will not get power in key on only.

Have you checked the Fuel Pump Control Module that's bolted to the frame? They have a tendency to rot out and allow water in there causing problems like you've described.

Normally I would advise you to post in the 2nd Gen forum or Ask the Toyota Mechanic thread, but you've got some very knowledgeable people trying to help in here. I hope you get it figured out quickly!

Have you checked to see if the module is rotted out like I suggested earlier?

So the fuel pump control module while looking inside the unit doesn't have any type of corrosion at all

I'm ready to at this point put a positive and negative wire on top of the fuel pump with alligator clips and keep a battery up in my truck and disconnect it when I need it to run hahaha funny I don't know what the hell to do

I took the vehicle to Monro Muffler and Brake they said that it was fixed come pick it up which I did and it still didn't start, LOL what up got two gallons of gas put it in it tried to start it it wouldn't start they had already left the shop cuz they closed. Then Triple A came out shook the Box wiggle the relay and it started by the miracle of God I got the truck home but then the next morning I could not start it again so I put jumper cables on it charged up the battery and voila it started again. Then about 3 hours later I took the truck to go to Walmart and it died and it would not start no matter what I did

If they shook the fuse box and it started I would definitely concentrate on that area. Maybe you have a loose wire or ground underneath that you can't see.
