I was given a rc hood bulge for Christmas and I was looking at it to install and noticed they didn’t provide a power switch. For those that have them on their truck did you just run a power line into a switch inside? Can I wire the amber lights to when fog lights are on and white for the high beams?

To do what your wanting to do I would suggest adding relays and running the trigger for them to the power for fog and high beams. Don't try and pull power from the fogs and headlights to power the bar, you'll burn something or pop a fuse.

Is it an actual light bar or is it that orange led strip that they have?

It might be that orange led strip that RC has and not an actual light bar. We will see what he has.

It’s a led strip. Just need a proper wire harness that can control both white and amber at the same time. Figured it would of provided one.

Yes a 2 function wire harness will provide you with options to run both lights independently. Make sure it has relays and it's not running all the power through the switches.
