Power Tailgate up/down question

How can you turn the tailgate back into the non powered version? Like on my 2023 I can press a button on the key fob and it will lower (dampened) not with a motor or with the tailgate button. But on the 2025 and up premium pkgs for SR5 and standard on Limited the tailgate has a power down and power up. I love having the option to manually close it quickly with my hands. However with the power up feature now you are fighting the motors even if turned off on the information screen. Is there a way to swap something from a non power up/down tailgate or remove the motor?

 

I believe there is a setting in the Gear menu (on left side of instrument cluster display) to enable/disable the PTA (power tailgate assist)

 

This will allow manual operation but still has resistance due to the motors of the tailgate. It is not the same as the 22-24 manual closing tailgates in terms of smoothness.
