So I've seen a lot of people post about these. I have them on my 23 platinum 4x4. however I found a nice 25 hybrid with the trd offroad package. I know that the 26 models are going to be able to be ordered with the steps. however If the truck has the powered bedstep, from what I've seen that comes with the ECU already which is the same that comes with the powered side steps. The fact that toyota is offering this only on the platinums and the 1794s OR models makes me believe that the harness is already built in since they already have the ECU for them. This makes sense why it's not offered on the TRD PRO or the Limited models as they don't have this feature. dealership told me I could keep my current powered steps.

I know this is a one off type of situation. But after reading all the threads, most of them weren't the platinum models.

Does anyone with a 1794 or Platinum 2025 TRD OR package have a powered rear step? Or I may have to just get a 26. I love my powered steps from the factory and would like to keep them

I can't say for sure. My '26 1794 will have them, but I thought I saw if you do the TRD package the powered rails and step are not available. Try doing the config on the Toyota website and you will find out quickly.

They are available only for the Platinum and the 1794 models. So I'm thinking about waiting for that. I just got a hell of a deal on a 25, But it has the powered rear step. so I'm thinking they are offering this only on these models because the wiring and ecu are already there? I love my powered steps

sounds like your in Gulf States Toyota (GST) area since you have a TSS model, thats an entirely different animal that everywhere else, they march to the beat of their own drum

I'm in the gulf stats but I Have a 2023 Platinum. not the TSS. I was responding to the other guys post saying that the Limited and TRD pro models don't come with harness that the Platinum and 1794's do.

the 2 with the white rocks were in New Mexico close to Bandelier Monument. Google had me take this backroad hwy there for some reason and I'm glad it did. The other pic is at the Valley of Fire state park in Nevada close to Las Vegas. I was doing a road trip from TX to Cali and back and took the scenic route on the way back. I took waaaaaaaay too many pics of my truck on that trip
