2014 SR5, Power steering pump sounds like it is sucking in air. Only hear The obvious power steering pump noise with AC turned on.
First, I replaced the pump with no improvement. Noticed a very slight power steering fluid leak so I replaced the pressure line going to the rack/pinion. Still no change
Water pump gas gasket was lightly leaking so I changed it and a brand new belt. Now everything seems to be perfect with the engine, except for the classic power steering pump cavitation sound only when air conditioner is turned on… any ideas?
