Hi all, noticed I have a small leak in front of my radiator yesterday and looks like one of the power steering hoses is bent and leaking. Figured it's not a big deal, I'll just replace the hose. Toyota Dealer only sells the entire assembly for $700ish. You all know if there's a specific reason to change the entire assembly or if I can just pick up a hose from a parts store and replace the leaky hose? It's the lower hose that has a kink in it and noticeably wet.

    Thanks!

Are you sure you found the right part number? @Roman might be able to help find that hose or confirm your post that they don't sell it separately.

No I'm not. I just asked the dealership for the hose and the guy said he only had the entire assembly for sale.

With power steering lines that is typically correct. Toyota will make you purchase the entire line. You can replace just the rubber line with some hydraulic hose from a parts store and it should be fine.
