Toyota/ BBS Texas Port mods before delivery. BBS 305/50R20 wheels
2007 Toyota Tundra 5.7L V8. While troubleshooting my TPMS problem (which I fixed!) I discovered a disconnected box in the passenger side kick panel by the glove box. I plugged it in and now the power door locks and FOB do not work properly. When left disconnected the truck operates properly including the power door locks. The part is marked 'Power Source Control Computer Assembly 89670-0C010'. I cannot find any information about the purpose of this part. Does anyone know what this box does or does not do? Thank you.

Update: I replaced this part and the truck still does the exact same thing with this plugged in. The truck does not respond to the FOB and the power door locks will not lock when pushed. They flip back to the unlock position. With this box disconnected everything works properly including electrical outlets, etc. I left it unplugged as apparently it does nothing.

That may be for the 4.7 and v6 options.. I may be wrong, so you may need an expert @Roman for a better answer.

@single10, on my 2010 Tundra the power source control ECU sends voltage to the various power outlet sockets in the cab via the J44 connector.
