    Hi All,
I’ve been taking my tundra through one of those standard drive through carwashes regularly since I bought it. It’s the super soft touch type. Trucks been fine. My running boards are looking a little rough though. I’ve never deployed them during the carwash. Has anyone done that? Bad idea? Should I just spray them off at home?
    Thanks!

Have had amp steps on all my prior trucks with over 600k miles on them and always used auto washes, no issues. What you are probably seeing is soap residue on the steps... they looks grayish/ white? my factory trd running boards do the same if they dont wipe them down really well
