    First post, lurked awhile though.
I've got an '08 Tundra crewmax limited 4WD, lately the driver side door will not lock with the power lock on the fob or the buttons inside except maybe once every 25 tries. I can only manually lock and unlock it. I've googled a lot and sounds like the actuator went bad. Sounds expensive at a shop, so I was able to find an actuator for $100 online that fits. My first question is does this sound like the problem? If so, how easy is it to take the driver door panel off in a driveway and how long should I expect it to take?

    Thanks!
    Stephen

I heard you have connections with insurance carriers. Please confirm.

Too bad those connections don't get me lower rates...

    Thanks

I appreciate it. Taking the door panel on/off is my only worry.

But you get better rates on craft beer, so that’s good enough.

Also, see if this will be of any help.
