Power Board automatic running board issues

2014 Limited

I just purchased a 2014 tundra limited. I have a set of Power Board wireless running boards that came on the truck. I love them! However, they only work for about an hour after syncing them. I have changed batteries, resynced them, hard reset, lubed them with some chain spray at pivot points and every time they stop working after an hour or so. For that hour they work wonderful.

Has anyone else had this issue? Any thoughts for a remedy? Thanks in advance.
