I am running a mid travel suspension set up which has given me bigger balls off road. I caught some air over the weekend on a trail in SW Arizona and now my poor girl is sitting off camber. Any ideas on what I messed up? (I am notorious for breaking my toys)

You have to do the exact same run but in reverse and shit’ll buff.

Did you just knock your alignment loose? I don’t see any damage.

    Also, welcome from Chandler

It does pull to one side. But I drive down a 14 mile stretch of unmaintained corrugated dirt road for work daily, she needs an alignment done about every 8 weeks, was already due for one at the time of the jump, surely it did not help.

Your coilovers look fine so I’d guess your LCA cam bolts couldn’t hold when you sent it. The more important question: is there video of you doing this?

I have seen people post about the cam tabs on the crossmember breaking off and also the factory cam bolts breaking the tab on the cam washers. That will make the alignment go way out of wack like that.

You can crawl under the truck and look at the cam tabs where the lower control arm bolts to the crossmember to see if they are broken.

Here is a thread on the subject. There are aftermarket tabs that can be welded on and also aftermarket cam bolts that are a stronger design.

Weakest like would be lower ball joint and spindle. by the way I would recommend removing your front sway bar its fighting against your front suspension. it will feel better while off roading.

Those are supposed to look like that. There is no boot over the joint on those aftermarket control arms.

Yeah from the pictures I cant see an issue with the upper uniball.

From that angle it looks pretty normal. Here’s another pic I found on Google:
    upload_2021-4-14_21-10-45.jpg

Bottom line, I don’t think those are clear enough photos to make an armchair call about what exactly is going on. But is no one else going to talk about that Sasquatch in the background?

If its a Uniball UCA, I admit I was completely wrong, it just looked totally wrong in the pics. Sorry.

LCA cams probably shifted outward when you landed, explaining the negative camber.
I had the same effect when I hit a speedbump at above average speeds after coming home from a garbage alignment shop that failed to torque to spec.

Bent spindles? Upper shock/UCA tower moved towards centerline of vehicle causing negative camber?
