Hello first time posting question thanks in advance. Put deposit on 2023 Tundra but don't want all of the port installed options dealer sent me as part of build. Are they able to remove them, the truck isn't supposed to be built until October 26th, 2022.

I had the same discussion and the information from my dealership was that they can not influence port installed options but only install additional “dealer installed” options.

I picked up my truck yesterday and it came with port installed options that I didn’t want (e.g. bed extender, console safe, ash tray, tote bag, etc.). In total I could have saved ~1k but at the end I had to go with it… I’ll see if I can sell some of the stuff.

My dealer was able to remove a dash cam, safe and bed cover, but not the locking lug nuts or locking spare tire release for some reason.

You probably want locking lug nuts.

Can't hurt to try just the extra $1,100 is not needed with the $3,000 Market adjustment added already. They are really squeezing use from all directions.

My MSRP is inflated 1300 because of port options that my dealer said they can't remove... Toyota finding creative ways to increase margin.

pio items are part of the allocation requirement UNLESS you put in a allocation reserve request specifying what PIO you do/not want.

They charged me 80 bucks for a hitch ball. It's currently in the pile with the other 5 I already owned.
It's a take it or leave it market.

If you have ever had one break on you when you have a flat it will be the first thing you remove on every future vehicle.

I was told no, but I assume that just meant "we don't want to".
