I am trying to wire in a pop and lock tailgate actuator and have watched a couple of videos on utube. The problem is , I am supposed to splice into a white with silver stripe and a blue with silver stripe wire in the passenger side kick panel. I can find 3 white wires and two blue going to my plug . None with a silver stripe. I wired into the two most likely wires but get no power to the actuator. Has anyone installed this device on an 08 tundra?....and if not maybe able to tell me where I can get free access to a wiring diagram for the power door locks Thanks

I know it took me a minute or two to dig through the harness' and find the correct wires. Maybe this will help you identify the wires. 2011, CM SR5 btw.

Different year models have diff colored wires. From my 16 to my buddy's 15 the colors we tapped into were different.

That adds a bit of confusion. We're all working with the passenger side.

3-1 level kit with add a leaf. 295/70/18r cooper max. Spider head light tail light and third brake light, tint, badges off, ladder racks, trd pro grill, color matched hood bulge, grab handle, coach builder +2, dv8 front bumper with winch, fender flares, bed cover....
I just did mine on a 16 I’ll check but there was only two wires with a silver dash on them. On the bottom blue adapter. I hooked them up. And it was reversed. Lock unlocked and unlock locked. So I just switched the connection by the actuator. I couldn’t find any exact instructions but just winged it

Thanks for all the help on this topic. I tend to forget that I can access this forum when I get stuck. I'm working on this mod for my 2010 crew max platinum, and I don't have any wires with silver dashes. I have a solid white and a solid blue. I will try using them tomorrow and post my results.

I just got this email from the Pop&Lock folks. Got to admit they were very quick with the reply. I got to respect excellent customer service. This is a PDF of the instructions they sent me. It confirms my last post about the solid blue and white wires. For reference, I'm working on a 2010 Tundra Crewmax. I hope this helps someone as much as this forum has helped me.
