How many folks have you heard justify a Tundra purchase by saying: "it's a Toyota, it will run forever!" and/or "Gonna run this thing until the wheels fall off, it's a Toyota!"

    2-3 years later...(sometimes less)

Trading that same truck in on something else....

"Damn, this Diesel is built like a tank, it'll run to 500k no problem!"

2-3 years later, negotiating a trade in....

    LMAO

I have no choice but to keep my vehicles for 6+ years, if I plan on retirement in 5 years.

My wife's Envoy is 13 years old, we knew it was time to buy another car when it left her stranded twice while I was gone for work. Can't have that...although we still have it as a backup sitting on the property. In that same respect I'll hopefully drive my truck until it starts to become unreliable at which point, it will be time for a change. 10 years is a good measuring stick.

Hilarious. My wife's new vehicle is a CRV, hope it lasts 10-15!

I’ve had my Tundra for only two years. I love it but I love pickup trucks and can’t help but to look at all the other nice looking trucks on the road. If my wife would allow it I’d probably be in the market for a new one, just bc. We live in a golden age of trucks.

For sure. Although the idea of a payment sickens me...and for those who are like "I paid for it outright, no payments" guess what, you still paid for it outright. To each his own though, everyone has diff priorities for sure.

I think that Platinum F450 looks the sickest but there is no way I could justify buying one.
