Please talk to me about driving/fog lights.

Looking into another mod for my truck. Last one was the OEM led headlights.

On my list is the fogs/driving lights. I seldom use the factory ones I have now. Could just leave them, BUT in the event I want to replace them tell me about yours.

Amber or white?
flood, spot?
what brand?
What if any install materials did you need, I am looking along the plug and play lines.

Fog lights should be mounted as low as possible.

 

I've got a set, new in the box, Baja, just waiting for an eventual new bumper. Been sitting with a new pair of headlights and a brand new v3 Triton set of running lights that I've had for 3 years... I may be a tundra parts pack rat...

Ok, back to you. The Baja squadron pros have the Amber lenses. I found when I need them most is at night when it's raining. White light does nothing in that situation except for make it harder to see. Just my experience. So I got amber lenses. Hopefully they will be better.

 

I replaced the halogen bulbs with high end led bulbs from headlight revolution. Then I tinted the lenses yellow with the lamin-x kit. The tint was like 15 dollars. I love them. You know when they are on as opposed to the stock lamps.

 

This mod w/ bd wide cornering fogs is the bees-knees.
