1st substantial snow in Eastern PA in last two years. 8 Inches of heavy wet snow.
First time being able to take the Tundra out to play.
It's not bad. Running 4H with MTS on Auto- tracks well and very predictable.
No weight in the back-200Lbs should work quite well when needed.
Just had new Wildpeaks put on due to alignment issues (Toyota Covered) Not impressed and once the wear out, will change to better tires.

    Comparison
-Wife drives 24 Rav4 Limited. AWD-MTS set for snow with Michelin Tires. Thing was amazing. Little to know issues.
-17 4Runner TRD Pro. For the win. Tundra works fine. 4Runner is a beast off road and in the snow.

Yes, the 4Runner is incredibly predictable in snow, even in 2wd, if you've got good snow tires.

The tundra without snow tires was a mess. I was constantly in and out of 4wd at stops and turn lanes. I can keep it in 2wd with blizzaks mounted, and not worry about tire spin.

My wife's forester with x-ices (would prefer hakkas or blizzaks, but it was what was available) is a chore to lose traction on anything but pure ice.
