Does anyone know if you can plastic chrome the rear bumper covers and the BSM sensors still work properly?

What is your question? Your bumper covers should be either metal chrome or plastic color matched. Are you asking if you can paint the plastic cap to be chrome?

As long as the cap is plastic, there should be no issue with the sensor. I don't belive painting it to look like chrome will interfere with the sensor.

There is a process that actually chromes plastic. Wondering if the sensors will see through that.

    :notsure:

That I don't know. Maybe get a test piece of plastic and do a test. Verify the sensor works with the plastic over it. Chrome that test piece and run your test again.
