It's recently become a necessity for me to move to a sub behind the rear seats vs my current JL 8w7 in a console extension box. The sub I've been trying to squeeze back there is an Audiomobile Encore 4412. I mocked it up out of foam posterboard. Due to the magnet diameter being 7.5", a wedge box is potentially an option if I take a page out of JL's stealthbox book and have the sub rear firing. In that layout, it leaves about 1.5" of space to spare. That got me thinking, I know there's foam under the carpet, and I can feel that there's a metal hump that extends out a few inches. My thought/idea is to cut the carpet, remove foam, and tilt the sub back at an angle while still having it rear firing, and come up with a funky shaped sealed box.
Pics for reference, bottom one is the general idea, main issue is if the sub can drop down enough to have the magnet clear the seat back frame, and have the front not hit the metal hump under the carpet.

I know I've seen a handful of folks who've got pics of their carpet/foam removed for sound deadening and was wondering if anyone could do me the favor of posting them so I can get a better idea of the angles I'm working with and depth etc., thanks in advance!
