You will probably gain back some weight savings in added rubber weight.

    I'm bias, black.

I don't venture out into to many colors for almost anything I own. White, Black, Red, Gray(s) are my usual go to.

    Current stock steel 18" wheels (38 lbs) + LT265/70r18 Goodyear Wrangler SR-A (50 lbs) = 88 lbs per corner
    Titan 7 wheels (19.5 lbs) + P285/70r17 Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S (45 lbs) = 64.5 lbs per corner
Shaving off about 27% means more AYCE buffets for me without hurting performance, right?

You’re also comparing an LT tire which is better suited for heavy trucks like this and is a lot more robust of a tire. You’re new tire is basically an SUV tire. Kind of a down grade in terms of tire quality.

Does the truck have any chrome on it? If so, then I like the titanium. If all color matched, bronze or black!

Bronze is a big no in my book no matter what color the truck is....just ugh.

Black is the super safe route. Follow through with those black lugs too.

I'm thinking of buying the same wheels. Got a CMC already in preparation. What suspension and tires will you be running?

Yes, it has a much lower load rating - 117 compared to 124. A tire with an equivalent load rating in 285/70r17 would weigh more I expect. I mostly tote surfboards, fishing poles, bikes. I think it will be ok for me.

Their website says that they do not work with the center caps that they sell. I don't know about other caps, I did see one pic of this wheel with a cap.

No chrome, so I'm seeing the trend - black.

Whole lot of trucks with black and bronze wheels out there. Go with the titanium if you're looking to be different.

Just Bilstein 5100 to level the front, probably middle setting. Haven't installed that yet. 285/70r17 tires.

    From Titan 7 customer service:

Center caps are not compatible as these wheels were originally designed for offroad competition purposes so flying projectiles were not allowed.

Sorry, didn't read the entire thread where you listed the tires you were considering. I agree with @Danman34 based on my own previous experience with SL tires. I would instead consider C load KO2s in 285/70r17. Those are only 50 lbs, a marginal increase in weight for a much better tire.

Thanks for everybody's input on this - I just ordered the bronze. Black looks like your truck is missing all its teeth. Titanium is too close in color to the paint that it looks like you are trying to match it and failing. Another one has gone to the dark side...

Bronze looks great on MGM. Black will look great too. IMO silver will be too monotone and look goofy.
