So I’m trying to get the most performance I can out of my 5.7 before I even start to think about forced induction. So far I have an aFe stage 2 intake, Hooker short tubes, Dirty Deeds exhaust (single) and a BD trail tune.
Can anyone recommend any other upgrades worth looking at? I saw another thread a lot of people were really pushing re-gearing but it seems to be more so in the setting of big 35 tires (or at least what I believe to be big tires). Mine is sitting on 22s with regular tires so I’m not sure if new gears would yield the same results. Any thoughts? Thanks fellas…

Gears will yield the same results regardless of tire size. The difference for you is your speedo would end up reading faster than you're actually going, but you'd still end up with gobs of torque and a somewhat reduced top speed. If you're willing to spend the coin on gears, you're better off saving for the supercharger. Granted the blower is about double the price of gears, but you'll notice a larger difference with it and have much more potential to get more power. The gears aren't cheap, figure you're ~4k all said and done.

Because talking about gearing vs supercharging when OP is asking about gearing instead of supercharging isn't relevant?

more than I can list here
Run 5.29. And get rid of the shorties. Install stock manifolds or long tubes.
