One of my coworkers has that one on his Titan. It’s really nice and seems well made. Only issue he has is that he can’t keep anything up by the cab because it blocks the cover from folding all the way up.

    I had one. Hated it.

Can't have anything over 6 inches tall within a couple feet of the cab, like a suitcase or Rubbermaid tote. You also have to remove your utility cleat rails.

The idea of it is cool and I think it's the best looking cover you can get. But getting it lined up and keeping it that way is a huge hassle. It can't keep water out because of the etching/pattern tundras have on the side railing. The cover is actually a floating design, and a simple strip of rubber is what creates a seal between the cover and the bed railing. That rubber cant make a seal because of that etching so it's full of 1mm gaps. I think some people run 3m tape across there to give the rubber a flatter surface.

If it isn't lined up perfectly it'll jump the track and you'll have to loosen it. Just getting the effing thing symmetrical is absurdly difficult, and keeping it there is nearly impossible. The main places it contacts when sliding are just bolt heads sliding through a track. Just metal grinding on metal. The bolts for the bracket on the no drill kit are too long. The video instructions (as of a few years ago) they refer you to not only don't cover installation of the no drill kit...they don't even mention it. So if you're following along and get to that point, you'll end up installing part of it incorrectly because it never says "hey bro. If you're using the no-drill kit, stop right here, check the manual instructions and pick back up with the video instructions in lesson #xyz."

Other than the appearance, I just can't say enough bad things about this thing. I got it installed after a few hours but had nothing but problems. I been telling a buddy about all the trouble I was having with it and he finally was like "there's no way this thing can suck so bad. Bring it over."

After two hours of fooling with it he said "you should sell this thing. It sucks. It's a terrible design."

So I did. Got 3/4 of my money back out of it. Told the buyer the problems I'd had, but that I may also just be a shitty mechanic.

Couldn't be happier with the $200 fabric tonneau I replaced it with.

    Pretty things
I'll have to check out this new hybrid thing, but I love our bakflip MX4. It has been flawless and extremely convenient to have (especially with the addition of pop-n-lock for the tailgate latch)

The only annoyance is ice buildup from time to time, but I can really fault the product for that. And you can still get into the back without opening the topper (unless the latch is frozen too:D)
