Best, most reasonably priced oil IMO.

 

I'll never use Pennzoil. Grew up with the notion that it was only good for the lawnmower.

 

Too bad 5-30 isn’t as cheap lol

 

Testing out there shows it has one of the best additive packages and top oils.

 

That's a good price but its always very close to that price all the time when I buy it from Walmart.

 

I was actually looking for this the other day but couldn't find it. Does anyone know where someone has tested through Blackstone the base oils for Mobil, Pennzoil, Castrol etc?

Only one difference on the bottles, only difference from the description on the bottle is that the regular Platinum "keeps pistons 40% cleaner" and the Ultra Platinum "keeps pistons 25% cleaner.

as others have said a couple of guys on YouTube have tested the oil very thoroughly only loses out by a nose to Amsoil. More detergent boron and zinc/phosphorus imho worth every penny. Our engines work oil really hard I can't see cheating out $10 every 5000 miles. Bad enough 0w20 is all they want us to run...
