I came across an article about when to change the PCV valve in my 2017 5.7L Tundra. My truck has over 70k miles, and as far as as I know, the PCV valve has never been replaced. I've put 40k on it since buying it. The article said the PCV valve should be replaced every 50k miles, but if the vehicle is drive a lot of short trips (mine is), the PCV valve should be replaced more often. I have two questions: is this accurate info and should I use only a Toyota OEM PCV valve for replacement?
