Driving along and the car in front decided "whoa need to turn right here NOW", no signal, hard brakes, and then froze half around the corner still in my lane.

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP went the dash and the brakes came on - just for a sec - as I was taking evasive move to the left which was clear. As soon as the front of the truck cleared the car on the left, the brake and warning instantly cleared.

Nice to know it works, even though this is about as far as I want to test it!

    Stock is so temporary
Mine activates when AssHats cut in front of me. It is fast and harsh braking but effective...

Something similar happened to me last fall. I was driving, albeit slowly at about 20mph, when I looked away for a second near an intersection and the person in front of me stopped for no apparent reason. I heard the beeping, but I'm unsure if it was the computer or me slamming the brakes on. Collision averted, and this, right after I had cursed the "stupid PCS system and it's dumb radar".

Oh that BRAKE warning comes on all the time (for a reason) every day as I go to work and home. Lots of folks trying to cut into my lane because only the two right lanes go from the 101 S to the 405 S and they are packed for a few miles every morning and the same in reverse every evening. Have mine set to medium sensitivity. People try to fit their cars into a space half their size. And they expect me to what, back up or something? On the freeway? Hard to believe these people graduated grade school.

I've had the BRAKE! warning and alarm go off 2-3 times so far with my truck. Each time was just for a moment, and each time was justified. In every instance, I had someone slowing or coming to a near stop out in front of me to make a turn. I had seen them but expecting they would turn before I got there I didn't bother braking. The BRAKE! light would come on for just a moment before the car turned and the truck realized there was no issue. Though during none of these instances did it get to the point of actually applying the brake; not that I could tell anyway.
