The truck has been great except for this constant friction noise coming from upper portion of the passenger window. The noise is driving me nuts and the dealer has tried but can’t figure out a solution. They have put a sticky puddy material in the molding, they replaced the window molding, and they just replaced the door molding and it’s still there. If I push on the window or upper door window frame it lightly replicated the noise. Has anyone else experienced this and have a fix. I don’t know if the whole door is a tad loose and it’s causing the noise on bumps, dealer said there are no adjustments for that, or if the window is loose, or if it’s the rubber molding rubbing on the metal contact. I’m at the point where any suggestions would be a huge help. They told me to open a case with Toyota which I did, but don’t know where that will lead.

Did you ever find a fix for this?

For my truck the dealer had to adjust my passenger door slightly to bring it in a little tighter. A field rep was the one who determined that. It was the final fix thank god. They tried a whole bunch of other stuff before that
