So I was washing my truck today and noticed that my passenger side pokes about 3/4-1 inch more than my drivers side. Is this normal? Seems odd. Bought the truck new only about 1700 miles.

Normal. It just becomes more prominent when you went with wider tires and or rim offset.

Another thing that can contribute to it looking even more dramatic is if the bed isn’t totally true with the cab. That can be somewhat adjusted by loosening the bed bolts and squaring everything up. This can happen either from the factory that way, or it shifted like mine did when it was sprayed with Linex. I had them remove the bed bolts before spraying.

Interesting....I wonder if that’s covered under warranty. Maybe I’ll have them take a look when it goes in for the first oil change. Should fall under the bumper to bumper I would think?

Unlikely. They might realign your bed for you but they won’t do anything about the tires sticking out. They will just show you the rest on the lot do the same thing. If your mechanically inclined at all I still wouldn’t want them dicking with my bed. Most likely they will shove it all the way to the right to overcompensate, and then it will just look stupid with the cab.

The bed bolts need to be torqued to 62 foot pounds.

It's normal, there was a YouTube video floating around and a Toyota engineer explained why it was like that. Mine is the same with offset wheels, wouldn't worry.

Bunch of damn lies. My Tundra is perfectly symmetrical, and perfect in every way, for that matter. I don't even need to look to know this. Nope, not looking. Definitely nothing out of line.
