Does anybody know if additional parking sensors can be added inboard of the two on the front bumper, I have noticed that there is a bit of a dead area inboard of the sensors, (think parking garage walls or light pole that splits a parking space). I tried earlier to get a feel for what they actually sense and as long as the poles concrete base was line of sight to the sensor it was fine but if it happens to be middle of a parking space it doesn’t see it.

I don’t need it but figured why not have it offer full coverage.

I found a thread about adding aftermarket sensors but what I’m curious about is if I can install 2 oem ones spliced to the existing ones or if there are additional inputs available at the control module for them.

No but you can move it to another location. But you have to set it in the exact way it sat before
