Has anyone else noticed their Tundra making the noise as if setting the parking brake but a while after they have parked and locked it? I have the truck set to automatically do it but at least two seperate times I've heard it reset the parking brake when I was walking near it but not pushing any buttons on the remote or the truck.

It's not a big deal really but it does seem odd.

Nop, haven't seen this. But I always press the parking brake button myself.

I do this - stop, shift to neutral, press parking brake button, shift to park, let go off brake pedal. As recommend by the Car Care Nut

Do you have the hybrid? I’ve owned a few hybrids and they make a lot of noises when shut off, mostly evap stuff.

    Good question. No. It’s non-hybrid.
