Curious if anyone has run into this or not. Truck was in an accident, but all sensors were intact. After everything was removed and reinstalled I am getting a Park Assist Malfunction warning message.

The dealer ran the codes and it is showing all 4 front sensors are "missing". They are blaming the accident (rightfully so) and want a lot to diagnose further.

The button on the bottom left side of the steering wheel doesn't change anything when pressed or held, and the "P" icon in the settings on the digital gauges no longer appears. I checked every fuse in the truck & disconnected the battery overnight and still have not had any luck.

Anybody have suggestions on where to look next?

Anybody have any ideas? I'd rather not spend thousands having the dealer diagnose, not to mention its my only vehicle.

Who fix your truck? Take it back to them.

    I would do this.

I would also call the insurance adjuster who did the post-accident inspection for the insurance claim and let them know that you've found additional, hidden damage. They should be able to update the claim to cover the additional damage. It shouldn't be too hard for them to do, especially if your dealership can provide documentation that the additional damage (in this case...the sensors) are a direct result of the accident.

Thanks guys. Shop is booked out 3+ months. Already had to wait 2.5 months to get it in the first time. Was hoping there may be something simple I could look into instead of looking at the error message for another 3 months.

Follow along the wire harness by hand, look for a connector unplugged/not fully seated or external damage to wiring. There's probably a connector that goes to all of them, near core support area.

It was just a calibration issue apparently. Picking it up from the dealer this afternoon.

It was around $300 to have it done.

Correct, they paid for it. It was 2 months ago so I forgot the exact amount, but it was covered.

It was a huge PITA though... I had to go through my insurance first, then my insurance went after his insurance since he was 100% at fault. Made the supplemental claims very tedious, but in the end its fixed and I am not out of pocket!

Hello everyone, Thank you for this Tundra forum. I have experience a similar problem. Being a newbie I jack knife while trying to back in my trailer at the campsite. The Insurance paid to repair the damage, however no sensors were damaged. The dealer can not fix PKSB Unavailable and the bottom left Park Assist button is unresponsive. They have me already waste $1000 replacing a sensor and bracket and not fix the problem with the tow hitch on. After the 3rd time at the dealer they assigned the Truck to a Master Tech with no fix result. I'm going to go back to the Insurance based on what I learned here. Can anyone help is this a calibration Issue alone? Thank you

Depending on your damage, mine ended up having a broken wire in the sensor harness that I could barely see until I took it apart and went over it with a fine tooth comb. Then they had to calibrate it from there.
