Panoramic Roof Issues

Hello, ANYONE have issues where the blind does not retract? Bought from dealer out of state and did not work when left after they troubleshoot onsite. Took to local dealer and Toyota Rep advising needs new motor. WTH? Vehicle held for 3 weeks on "QC" hold which is complete BS Toyota didn't catch this failure.

 

Dang. Sorry that you're going through this. Just to be clear, you took delivery of the truck knowing that the sun roof didn't retract? Or you didn't find out until after you left the dealership?

 

We were leaving dealership, rep setting up app and we wanted the blind closed. Rep attempted to close, would not. Took it to service, hour later not fixed. Dealer was 3.5 hour drive from home and had been there for 5 hours already. Got it closed and told us to go to local dealer to repair.

In the garage for a week. Toyota tech looked at it as well. Replaced one motor (sunshade) still not work. Had sunroof motor replaced on Tuesday. Worked last night, tried tonight and not working again. Need to open sunroof to retract sunshade. Calling dealer and Toyota tomorrow.
