Paintless Dent Repair

Anyone have any experience with paintless dent repair? My 25 Tundra got caught in a hail storm last week and that is the method the insurance wants to use to fix it.

 

I did on another car. Results were impressive but I didn't agree with the buffing he did afterwards. A little hand polishing and wax brought it back. I wasn't able to see where the dent was afterwards. Granted, I'm rather picky when in comes to my cars finish. Writing "Wash me" in the dirt should be a felony in my opinion.

 

It's standard for hail repair. You'll never see it.

 

My 15 Tacoma was attacked by a hail storm of my last day of work before retirement. Kind of a parting gift. Anyway I had the body repair shop do paintless dent repair and it came out great. Think its actually better in regards to painting as you don't have to worry about them blending the paint into your existing paint.

 

If the right person does it you won’t be able to tell.

 

I'll find out tomorrow. My 23 got over $7,000 worth of hail damage a few months ago and I get it back from the shop.

 

Just got my estimate, $13,000 in repairs
