Looking to paint outer rivet bolts on my XD wheels, can anyone recommend a good matte black paint for this purpose? Need something that’ll hold up and won’t come off when wrenching them back on.

Paint, IMO, would not stick well and would come off when wrenching them back on. Not even sure powder coating with work.

Try plasti dip. It's cheap, easy to apply, touch up and remove.

I’ve used Plasti dip on emblems, do you know how well it would hold up to a socket on the bolt when I re-install them?

That’s my thought as well. I might try using some of that spray bed liner paint as it’s more durable.

I don't not, sorry. Take 1 off and try it.
