What's the best paint chip repair? My pressure washer did this and I have other chips. I just can't believe it happened here on what's suppose to be the reinforced part of the paint and no where else.

I just order OEM touchup paint from dealership was around 10-15 bucks, and matched to the vin, if want cheap easy fix, finger polish works great for some colors

Paint code touch up pin is the best option. I had chips all over my black one and wax made it look even worse.

I have the Toyota touch up paint for my Cavalry Blue Tundra. I used it to touch up a few small chips my 4 year old granddaughter made with the hose nozzle while 'helping' me wash the truck. It looks ok for the tiny chips, but is not an exact match.

I'm going to use one of the little 3-step color match pens for several small chips that have been open for a while and have some visible rust creeping in. How aggressive should I be on sanding to remove that surface rust first? Everything I can, or just clean up and make sure it's all sealed up with the touch-up paint?

Yeah, we'll see how this round comes out, maybe do a more thorough job (or complete repaint) down the road. I'm mainly worried about stopping rust, and covering the larger imperfections to about "body length" level of visual scrutiny. I'll photo the result here...

I would just do Toyota matched touch up paint pen. Just do the lightest coats possible. The only time you'll notice the repairs is when you wash your truck especially being down so low. No one else will ever notice. And probably the pressure washer didn't cause the paint to fail but rather rocks did and the pressure washer just knocked off the already loosened paint.
