    Hello Respected member,

I just purchased a Toyota Tundra 2022 from a Toyota dealership 4 days ago. I notice these rough paint bubbles on the roof of my truck. The truck is driven about 80100kms. Do you think it is covered under warranty? I am attaching the photos of the paint bubbles. The bubbles are rough and feels like it has rust spot underneath. Please suggest what can be done.

    Thank you.

I believe the paint warranty is 3 years or 36000 miles……I wonder if the previous owner had a roof rack or something (hard to tell where it is from the picture). How many of those kinds of spots do you have? I would definitely call Toyota to show them….

There is likely little that Toyota will do for you……if it was me I would be tempted to start fixing that before it gets much worse. But you never know how bad it is u til you start uncovering the rust……

i would also call the dealership and let them know. Some have a 7 day satisfaction guarantee. Check to see if they have anything like that and see if they’ll work with you to get it taken care of

@shawn474 So I purchased it from a Toyota Dealership in Quebec, Canada. But I am a resident of Ontario, Canada and I am back to Ontario after purchasing the truck. Dealership is about 700kms away. Do u think this 7 day satisfaction guarantee is valid across all dealership or just the once I purchased it from?

You would have to check; all dealerships have different rules. You may want to call in the morning and figure out what your options are.

@Tundraaa3 Yes on the roof and for me it is not covered under warranty because 3years/60000kms have passed. If you are still within the time/mileage range I suggest you visit the dealership asap.
