    So bought this PA speaker

All-Weather Mono Trumpet Horn Speaker - 5” Portable PA Speaker with 8 Ohms Impedance & 25 Watts Peak Power - 180 Degree Swiveling Adjustable Bracket for Easy Maneuverability - Pyle PSP8 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001D0LMG2?_encoding=UTF8

set it up on a Uniden Bearcat and when you turn on the PA function the static is loud. You turn up the squelch and the static goes away… but the speaker isn’t very loud…. Any thoughts?

I can hear the static just fine but when I talk it’s not there….
