    Hey all , I'm getting that P2443 code , and was wondering if anybody tried using that Hewitt Technologies Secondary Air Injection bypass kit ?

    Any input much appreciated - thanks

    Thanks ! The truck is running fine , but being I live in f'n rip-off New York , I really just need it for emissions .

    It can be put in after the AIPs fail? Mine are running great still, never been replaced, but I always dread the day.

    Maybe being in an semi-arid/hot environment keeps them working well.

    Yep. My secondary pump failed. Was told to replace both primary and secondary but was a stupid expensive job. Grabbed the kit for $300. Easy fix. About an hour and half job. Basically treat the startup of the truck now like a diesel so the computer gets the read on the air.
