    Hi,
I have a 2007 Toyota Tundra 5.7. Recently I got a check engine light and scanned for codes and got a code reading P2433. I called Toyota and they said that it’ll be $90 just for a diagnosis. I’ve read on a couple forums that for the 2007-2010 model years, Toyota extended the warranty on emissions problems to 150,000 miles. Currently I have 129,000 miles on mine and was wondering if Toyota would fix this issue for free since I have less than 150,000 miles?
Also wanted to ask about the severity of this problem. Is it going to damage my engine or hurt performance? Or is it just not meeting emissions? I ask because I plan on driving up to Michigan for a weekend in my tundra so it’ll be a couple hundred miles. Should I be worried driving with this code?
I hope someone responds because I could really use some help with this problem.

It won't hurt the truck to drive with this code on, but it is also likely that the presence of the code will put your truck into limp mode, so you'll be having a very slow drive this coming weekend.

Have Hewitt overnight you a bypass kit and get that sucker installed!

I just installed most of the Hewitt bypass kit but I’m having trouble installing the block off plate because the bolts are super rusted and won’t come off. How important is it to install the block off plate? I’d appreciate any input
