Had a hard time getting my truck started after the holidays. I was able to get it jump started, but noticed I had codes p0340 and p0345. I have the camshaft position sensor ready to install, however I’m not able to find anything indicating where it might be. If I’m standing under the good, is it underneath the cover on the right side?

Thank you in advance. Not super knowledgeable with this stuff, but want to learn.

I recommend finding a FSM for your model - anyone here know where to point him to for a good source?

On top of valve cover about in the middle, front to back. This code means the ecu received signals not consistent with current situation. Could bad sensor or more likely something else caused the inconsistency. The likelihood of two sensors failing at the same time is about 0 and your codes report both.

difficult starts can do all sorts of weird things. I would clear the codes and wait to see what happens next.
