    Hello All,

I have a 2003 4Runner with the 2UZFE 4.7 engine and recently replaced the timing belt/water pump. I routed the wires incorrectly and when I started the engine the belt caught some of the wires and freyed them. Now seeing the P0335 code. It seems this might be a common thing? I'm trying to figure out if I need a new wiring harness, if so anyone know the part number and where to get it? Or do I need to cut out the bad part and rewire, but the wires look really small? If so, could butt connectors work, not that great at soldering, but it can be done if needed :)

    Welcome Gene.

I would follow the wires back to see if you can buy a pigtail from the dealership. If not, next would be connectors, heat shrink, and proper routing.
