anyone familiar with doing this swap?

I have the over head console that goes all the way back to the rear seats. but looking to swap to a shorter one and add a over head flip down monitor for the kiddos.

do they share the same bolt patterns?

any other concerns I might run into?

    edit, this is a 2012

How big of a screen are you wanting to put in? If it's a 7" monitor or less you can just keep the long overhead console. There was a guy that put a 7" monitor in the rearmost sunglass holder. He wired everything through the overhead and had it cut to fit where he could close it when not in use.

I would think integrating a screen into the overhead is too much trouble with the advent of tablets. Amazon Fire tablets are particularly inexpensive with 7" going for $60 and HD 8" for $100. You could get 2 tablets and 2 mounts and mount them to the front seat headrests.
