Installed my Fox 2.5 Performance Elite F/R today. They replaced the Bilstein 6112/5160. Overall a better ride. Not as stiff and takes smaller bumps/potholes way better. So far the only issue is that I got more than 2" of lift. Originally my truck sat at about 36 3/8. When I did the 6112 it sat at around 39 3/4, even that was a little bit over from what Bilstein said it should sit at which is 2.7". The Fox are sitting at the same height, nothing changed. The collar was set by Fox at 1/2 down for the pass side and 1" down for driver side to account for lean. Front end is now level but above their stated height.

It’ll probably be a little closer to the same height after a few hundred to a thousand miles once the new springs settle some

Little bit of an older thread, but where did you buy these from? And did you get the 0-2" option or the 3" option?

I'm currently really interested in the performance elite like you bought, just wondering why they are a little cheaper than the factory race since they are newer and "better."

I'm trying to do a "minimal lift" upgrade that gets me the best ride possible. I've also got my eyes on the king 2.5 counterparts, just trying to decide if I like the blue or not :)

I got them from Summit Racing. I went with the 0-2, I also wasn't looking for anything bigger, plus I didn't want to do UCA, which are a must on 0-3 CO. AS for the price, well all I can say is that no one could touch Summits price. Tire rack was also pretty close, but every where's else they where a lot more.

I'm probably gonna end up waiting till memorial day weekend to hopefully snatch up a deal on them. Still trying to decide on whether or not the Kings or Fox's are the way to go.

Would you happen to have any more pictures of how your truck sits now with them on?

Here a build thread I did. It's pretty much still the same. The Bilstein where set at 2.7 and now I am at 2.0. You really can't tell much.

    Killer truck!

I'm hoping one day I can convince my dad to do some more with his 14' crewmax. He's pretty old school so I have to practically beg him to upgrade his lol. So far I've convinced him to do away with the factory halogen headlights and fog lights, working on getting him to do some sort of a lift to level it out because I feel the 14-21 look way better than the 07-13 lifted.
