Bumpstops are your friend. Ditch the spacers and go with a set of 6112s.

Go with the Toytec/Eibach suspension kit. Super good quality. I’m running it right now. P

I have their n2.0 struts and hate them! Going with the toytec boss coilovers. They're adjustable and no one has said anything bad about them.

A kit that comes with bump stops shouldn’t have that issue

If you extend the bump stops you should be fine. Obviously you shouldnt be rock crawling with a spacer lift but normal driving and light off roading is fine. If you hit a large pothole with speed, you could bust it as well.

Yep, It doesn't matter what 3" front lift you do, if you don't add the bump stop spacers, you are bound to bend or break something

The bump stop spacer is for any lift, or just the block that goes under the spring?

Not necessarily true. As long as the shock is not bottoming out before the bump stop comes into contact, no bump stop extension is required. If the shock is designed for your suspension set up, no extension should be required. Most of the time bump stop extensions are for spacer lifts.

I did mine myself as well. It was my first time. I was happy to not have to pay anybody other than for parts and an alignment. Instructions are awesome to have LOL.

Those are good friends to have. My knowledgeable friends would’ve helped me out (If I asked) as I seem to be there go to person to help them. Sean, help me drop this big block in. Sean help me with the electrical on my boat. I am by no means a professional mechanic but I am a good problem solver when it comes to taking something apart and figuring out why it’s not working. Especially on old stuff. But I tend to not call my friends as I take pride in getting something done myself when I can.

I was that kid with his car torn apart in the driveway. At 18 years old I did a junkyard transmission swap on my 64 olds. That one didn’t work so I tried another. Until I finally bought a rebuilt turbo 350. I was getting rid of the old two speed. All with the car on ramps using standard jacks to get in. I was really proud of myself. I basically taught myself to do the brakes, wheelbearings, timing chains all on my own. I fixed any little thing on my own by trial and error. I did have my stepdad as back up, but he would let me have at-it and just be there for questions.
