Very nice. Good luck tomorrow. Always wanted to visit that area of the State. Been to the Methow valley zillions of times but never farther east. Well, with the exception of Lake Roosevelt.

Ditto hear also. Blew out irrigation lines and winterized the camper. Nothing exciting. Oh, put cheap, heated seats the plug into the old days cig outlet back in the truck cause I was to cheap to buy a limited.

I got a head start and winterized the trailer. Shut down the work computer at exactly 8hrs and then took the trailer to a local RV park to dump the tank. Poured two gallons of RV antifreeze down the pipes and gave her a wash. Will put the cover on tomorrow...

It's a good weekend when you've already knocked out 3-4hrs of chores by Friday evening

Yeah, I will sell or barter the knives. I’m retired and not really interested in starting a business, but this is a pretty expensive hobby, so it’s good to be able to support the habit. Prices vary. Typical Damascus knife uses $40.00 to $50.00 worth of materials (steel, scales, bolts, brass, etc) and takes 30 to 40 hours.

Hey Tim...happy Thursday. My week has been non-stop and I'm over it...hoping to get some good R&R this weekend. Might go for a drive to clear my head...it's all Groundhog Day right now.

Hope everyone else is making it thru the week...Just talked to a PD buddy of mine and they're getting ready for election day. Not only for election night, but through the weekend. Sounds like the fire starters are expected no matter who wins....

I'll be working this weekend. 18 days in a row. Then 4 off. Then possibly 18 more days. Definitely going to be ground hog day for me too. My rest and relaxation will be a 4 day hunt for a whitetail doe. I got drawn for a second deer tag this year. Hopefully it will be cold and snow. Just after or maybe during the rut so hopefully they are moving for me. First time ever trying for a doe...and a second deer for the freezer would be nice.

Hope your weekend is a great one!

We saw 14° up north and 10" of snow o_O. Beautiful country up there, we will definitely return.

The snow and the steep road into my buddy's cabin led to a little tree vs Tundra damage.:censored:
Not the end of the world, already have it scheduled for repairs.

I forgot about that quickly when we got back home to hunt some of our turf, my wife dropped a dandy buck, her first deer!

    Pics to follow

Sorry about the truck. Made it back home, that's the most important part. It will be apart of your wife's first buck story she'll always remind you of

Appreciate it, she was solid. Minimal buck fever, lol.
We stalked this guy for most of the day. He snuck out a draw through thick sagebrush on us. We split up to cover more ground and she smoked him all by herself, couldn't be more proud!

My truck ocd is struggling with this little bed crunch, I'll get through it with time and therapy. :help::rofl:

Currently raining. Been raining all day since about 5 yesterday. Only 2 breaks that I am aware of and they weren't very long. Probably close to 3" give or take. Walla Walla airport reports 1" yesterday and 1.8" today.

I passed a green TRD Pro on my way home tonight - they were heading south on NE 82nd Ave north of Daybreak Park (Clark County, north of Battle Ground) while I was heading north toward View. I don’t think there are too many Pros in Clark County...is that someone on this board?
