All sorts of awesome camping and river activities just about an hour north of Ashland in and around Grants Pass and the Rogue River.

(Although I'd love to learn how to hunt and fish, I never have so can't say whether there'd be any good spots down there.)

Whats going on everyone? Tomorrow is Friday :amen:. Only three more of them till Friday becomes my Tuesday...and I'm back living that Graveyard life for the next 3years or so. Ok hopefully not that long. But plan for the worst and pray for the best.

Good news about that...I will become my trucks primary driver again.haha and the wife gets her Camry back till we get her something new.

What do you do? Hospital or police? My wife did night shift at the hospital for years, money was great. Work life balance not so much...

Well depending on your opinion I work for a loved or hated transportation organization here in the Portland area.
I finish my apprenticeship program in two weeks. Then off to graveyard.

I was on graveyard most of my nine years in the Marine Corps. I planned on being stuck on graveyard since I took this job. Having weekdays off will help while the kids are in school. But like you said life balance...yeah right. At least I have been telling friends and family this was going to happen for a while so they should understand.

Went to Portland this week for work and drove through La Grande and it has pretty amazing landscape! I had district meetings and visited one of my dealers Peterson Cat in Hillsboro.

I was originally looking at a Voodoo blue Pro, do love that color. My last car was magnetic, and while I love it I didn’t want to deal with maintaining a truck in that color. My “new member introduction” post says that I was planning to get a MGM.

I have family in The Dalles and in Hood River. Columbia river is fun to look at when driving. Summer and fall seeing all the boats as well.

About once a week I get a video of something crazy my Seattle friend saw on his way to work. The other day he walked out of his apt building to some old homeless guy whacking off. Thankfully he didn’t record that one lol. Not that Portland is any better, that’s why I’m in the burbs now.

Mom’s whole family is from HR. Spent so much time there. Got married near Parkdale at my (passed) Grandpa’s search and rescue group’s lodge. It was awesome and that town holds a major place in my heart.
