I just talked to the only local shop that has a good reputation (their rep is very good locally) and was quoted 2 prices for lifts, both of them Procomp:
    Option 1:
4” procomp suspension lift installed including alignment - $2867.60

    Option 2:
2 1/2” procomp front level with 2” rear block- everything included -$650.00

I’ve never lifted a truck before but these seem a little steep to me. I have 2 questions:
    1. Are these prices what I should expect?
    2. Opinions on the procomp options listed.

6" Pro Comp Lift w/ 35" Mickey Thompson MTZ, 20x10 Fuel Lethal Wheels, GatorTrax bed cover, Winjet headlights/taillights, aftermarket grill with Rigid 30" LED Light Bar, LED Pods fog lights, Taco Tunes audio system 1B, Aftermarket Leather and heated seats, D.A.P Tune, Chrome all wrapped in black. Blistein front shocks/Pro Comp Rear shocks. Mammoth Front Guards(about to be installed) and about to order rear guards. Lock'er Down Console Safe and Lock'er Down Long Gun Safe under rear seat.
@madmatt Not sure what shop it is...but I have a 6" Pro Comp Lift. The lift itself was like $2100 I think....and install at a nationwide shop was $1300 I think, I would have to look...look at the kind of warranty they have too..some guys will say find someone and do it yourself, but that is a huge risk if something breaks. so sometimes paying for "good reputation" might be worth it. However, for a 4" that might be a little high.

The warranty is 5 year 60k miles and is through procomp.

Like most guys, it spends 90% of the time going back and forth to work. 1 day every month I take it out to the forest and play all day long. Sugar sand, mud, washboard roads, whatever I can find.

I want to do a couple of inches in the back because I do use it as a truck regularly though, pulling a trailer, getting wood, feed, etc and don’t want to be pointed toward the sky when I’m hauling stuff. :)

Seriously look at the tundras.com standard. Boss 4x4. Bilstein 6112 up front. 5160s in rear with a shackle of your choice. It’s not a four inch lift but it is around three. Rides very comfortably and is not a block kit.

What about putting the 6112’s up front and just shackling the stock rear? Wouldn’t that be the same thing?

Any type of full day off-roading, even once a month, I would get coilovers. That spacers lift can get damaged doing washboards and etc.

That sounds more realistic to me also.

Ok, thanks everybody, I’m pretty sure my mind is made up. Probably going with either 6112 or maybe Fox 2.0 in the front, and shackling the back with some upgraded shocks (haven’t decided which ones yet though). Decided against the leveling kit that was originally offered and while the complete procomp lift is a good option I just don’t want to drop nearly 3 grand on it.
