I have an all black SR5 and had chosen to purchase the Thule xSporter for my kayaks. I was planning on getting black as well but came across a "too good to pass up" deal on the silver. A couple folks I know say keep the silver since it looks good with the brake lights, but I'm leaning on getting powder-coated black. Any thoughts?

The racks in black would match better with your side steps. Keep the theme all black I think it looks good 100% committed

Black would look better but it's a ton of parts once you get it all disassembled and also pull of all the rubber and plastic. You might want to get a quote on that powder coat job.
