Only buying 1 tire advise needed

Just wondering i have 1 37 that is worn down and 3 that have life left. Want to know with prices these day can I get away with buying 1 37 and getting 3 in a few months. We just got the wife new 33s for the sequoia and I don’t have close to 4K to get 8 tires. They are baja boss at thank you

 

Can you just get a used tired for now to get you by? I'm just looking at replacing stock size and they are roughly 300 a piece plus install

 

I’d go with a used tire in your case also. Just learn how to read tire date codes if your don’t already.

where are you located? Just picked up a set of 37 Baja boss for a great price locally. If local I can direct you over to the shop

Random, but do those Baja bosses have white letters on one side?

Why is one tire worn down though? Alignment issue and not rotating? Worn down from under/over inflated?

Generally I would say get two new tires and run them on the front and two used on the back and them rotate in pairs until you replace them. Third used becomes the spare.

 

Nope both are good i rotate every 5k my self. Air is good discount tire said maybe a bad tire. My follow up was there is no way the other 3 can go 20k more he told me he agrees but they need to be a certain tread life to get money back and the warranty is cash back so I would get 120 off the tire I just went else where that was cheaper in the long run and going with Toyo
